PROGRAM INFORMATION

Students may qualify to receive a diploma from Roberts’ School of Cosmetology by maintaining a 2.0 average or above for all theory and practical work. The required credit hours are

Cosmetology 1500 hours (12 months)

Esthetics 1000 hours (8 months)

Manicuring 525 hours (5 months)

 

THE ADMISSION PROCESS

    Applicants to Roberts’ School of Cosmetology must have a high school or GED transcript showing proof of completion of the twelfth grade. An application form must be completed and submitted with a $100.00 registration fee. The fee may be paid in cash, check or money order and is due ten business days before scheduled class begins. The registration fee is non-refundable.

    Applicants must have their previous high school, vocational-technical school, or college send diplomas and transcripts to Roberts’ School of Cosmetology. If an applicant has a GED, a copy of their scores must be sent to the Admissions Office. All documents must be in the applicant’s file upon registration.

    Scholarships, grants, and awards are made possible by RSC. If you will be applying for financial aid you will be required to schedule an appointment with our financial consultant. You will be asked to bring in the following: Income tax returns or W-2 forms for the previous two years for you, your spouse or parents or proof of government or public assistance for your household.

Books, uniforms, etc. are payable prior to entering classes. Cash, certified checks, money orders and personal checks may make payments.

REFUND POLICY

Registration fees are not refunded unless the school cancels a class. Tuition may be refunded if:

      A student has pre-registered, but cancels before classes begin (100% refund), or

        A student cancels within 14 days of registration after classes begin (80% refund).

STUDENT LOAD

All full time students are expected to carry an academic load of forty hours each week. All part time students are expected to carry an academic load of twenty-two hours each week.

CLASS SCHEDULE

Full Time Classes - Day

 9:00 am to 3:00 pm         Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

9:00 am to 6:00 pm         Saturday

Part-Time Classes -  Night 

 5:00 pm to 9 pm          Thursday and Friday

 9:00 am to 6 pm          Saturday

 

 

 

Advanced students will have staggered schedules that will be assigned by the instructor.
